Mujica: “We do not like the arrogance of the rich Europe”
April 17, 2012
The president of Uruguay, Jose “Pepe” Mujica, supported Argentina’s decision to boost the expropriation of YPF and criticized the attitude that took different European countries after the announcement.
Mujica questioned “the arrogance with which Europe spoke” on the issue, referring to the manifestations of the governments of Spain and France against Argentina.
Uruguayan leader said: “The error was to have sold YPF Argentina,” but said that “old is wrong.”
“If they fix it or not fix, it’s a problem of the Argentine people,” continued the President.
