Adriana Cruz died, the woman who killed her 6 year old son

Adriana Cruz, the woman who killed her six years old son in the gated neighborhood St. Vincent, died in hospital after trying to hang herself at the prison where she was arrested.

The woman attempted suicide by hanging herself with a half in the bath of unit 45 of the Buenos Aires Prison, but was unsuccessful due to the intervention of penitentiary staff. She was then rushed to hospital Alejandro Korn, where eventually died.

Cruz died around 4.30 am, judicial sources said. The judge involved in the case, Juan Pablo Masi, confirmed the death of the accused. “She did not commit suicide due to the intervention of prison service staff. She was treated at the hospital, but finally died,” the magistrate said.

Egidio Melia, director of the hospital, said the woman arrived in critical condition with signs of hanging. It was performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation but doctors could not get her out of a deep coma.

Adriana Cruz killed her six year old son drowning in the bathtub of her room and according to her statement was “to fuck the father.”
