Brufau: “We have to speak, not to argue without knowing”

Argentina, April 15, 2012

Antonio Brufau, president of Repsol, called today to the Argentine Government “not to impose or speak without knowing” in the negotiations that the company will hold together with the state to discuss the future of YPF.

“We always have to talk, talk. Not impose a unique speech. Things have to be done in the office and talk. I Always say that (speaking) people understand,” he said in a conversation with Radio Mitre.

And he said “we must” try to make things right, trying to talk to who we have to talk to.”

Brufau formally requested an audience with President Cristina Kirchner, although he was received by the Federal Planning Minister Julio De Vido and Secretary of Economic Policy Axel Kicillof.
