A 24-year-old man, who was opening his newsstand at about seven o’clock, was struck by a criminal who tried to rob him and ended up stabbing him.
The newspaper boy identified as Gonzalo organized the magazines to open his stand on Corrientes Avenue and Maipu St. when someone hit him from behind.
A criminal of about 35 years old, demanded the money but Gonzalo was only 30 pesos, as the day had just begun.
The offender began to attack him and traders noted the situation and started to scream. There was a struggle and the criminal managed to cut his throat before fleeing.
