Cristina will meet with Obama on Colombia at the request of U.S.

The president, Cristina Kirchner, will meet with U.S. President Barack Obama, in Colombia during the Summit of the Americas.

Secretary of Public Communications Alfredo Scoccimarro reported that “the United States Government requested an audience with President Barack Obama to the president of Argentina Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner during the Summit of the Americas in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.”

“The President agreed, and the bilateral meeting will be held next Saturday in that city,” the official continued.

Tomorrow, Cristina will depart for Cartagena, Colombia, where she will attend the Sixth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Americas.
