Last night, there were know news in the case following the raid conducted in December 2011 to the headquarters of Cablevision. Federal Judge Claudio Bonadio, the same judge who is investigating in the cause of the tragedy of Once, said “it was an unlawful act” as it was ordered by federal Judge Walter Bento of Mendoza, who according to the local magistrate “has no competition in the area of the City of Buenos Aires.”

Also, the Security Minister Nilda Garre, was reported by Bonadio before the Court of Appeals under federal jurisdiction, considering that “she should not had authorized the National Gendarmerie, force under her command, to participate in the raid because it did not have an express order of the local courts.”

The ruling argues “the judge of Mendoza ordered the help of the police and organized the implementation of the measure, with the concurrence of the head of the Ministry of Security, all acting without proper intervention and a local judge, as it is mentioned in the local jurisdiction. “

Moreover, Bonadio says Bento “violated local jurisdiction” and that “Cablevision was not required to comply with the order.”

With respect to Garre, the ruling clarifies “we may be facing a crime against public order, the author could be the Minister of National Security, Dr. Nilda Garre, regarding the use without a warrant from the competent Police in the City of Buenos Aires.”
