Celso Jaque is the new Argentine ambassador to Colombia

On this day, president Cristina Kirchner announced the appointment of former governor of Mendoza, Celso Jaque, as Argentine representative to the government of Colombia.
The president and foreign minister, Hector Timerman, Jaque resolved to grant the post of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in the caribbean country.
Jaque was governor of the province of Mendoza between 2007 and 2011. At the end of his term, Argentina requested Colombia the authorization of the placet of ambassador for former provincial leader to take it.
