Chávez asked god to “give him life”

Hugo Chavez, Venezuela’s president, asked God to “give him life because he still has things to do for this country, for this town.”
The call came during a Mass on Holy Thursday as was reported by the Venezuelan News Agency.
The president called “give me life. I don’t’ care if it is a painful life, I do not care. Give me your crown, Christ. Give it to me, give me your cross, one hundred crosses, I’m taking them, but give me life. Do not take me yet, give me your thorns, give me your blood, Christ, my lord. Amen”.
He also thanked the masses to be celebrated for his speedy recovery, “is very important to talk about life at difficult the circumstances.”

Chavez, of 57 yearsold, arrived home around 11:30 pm hours on Wednesday after completing his second cycle of the five scheduled radiotherapy in Havana.
