United States: Shooting left five dead in Catholic University

In Oakland, California, a man opened fire at a Christian medical school, leaving five dead and several wounded. The gunman was arrested. Police said “there is no immediate threat to public safety in the vicinity”. 

Five people were killed and several injured, after one of the students entered armed and fired in a classroom at the university.

Data on deaths are not yet accurate. Johanna Watson, spokeswoman for the Oakland Police, said she cannot yet specify the number of victims of the shooting.

TV images showed that the wounded were taken outside the building, while more doctors came to the place. According to its website, Oikos University offers courses in Theology, Music, Nursing and Asian Medicine.
