The UCR and the FPV will approve the transfer from the subway

City of Buenos Aires, March 28, 2012

The lower house is already in session to discuss the transfer of the subways from the national sphere of the Federal Capital. The Front for Victory (FPV) and radicalism support the measure, comfortably passing the necessary votes for passage.

The meeting has already harsh points between different representatives. The head block of the FPV, Agustín Rossi, asked Mauricio Macri to responsibility of the transport system and that “not to look for shortcuts” to the transfer.

Meanwhile, Rep. Diana Conti had a discussion with Patricia Bullrich from the bloc of Union por Todos, close to the PRO.

The party that leads the Federal Capital submitted a draft of rejection to the measure, which is expected to be followed by the the dissident Peronists.

Meanwhile, the Broad Progressive Front (FAP) is divided to the point: while there are two projects on the transfer of minority (one of Claudio Lozano, Popular Unity, and a Roy Curtain, the Socialist Party), Libres del Sur and GEN proposed to abstain.

However, it is worth remembering that the FPV and its allies are already above the 140 votes needed to pass the initiative, in addition to the support of the Radical Civic Union.
