Tevez returned and made an assist for Manchester City’s comeback
March 21, 2012
After months of being off the bench, Carlos Tevez once again used the shirt of Manchester City in a court for no less than putting an assistance in the winning goal for his team against Chelsea, 2-1. Aguero scored a penalty.
The “Citizens” received the mighty Chelsea in a match vital for the fight in the Premier League. Manchester United, leader, had won 5-0 and extended their lead to 4 points from those of Mancini.
To make matters worse, the City did not stand and was down by 1-0 to the “blues” until, at minute 31 of the second half, the Kun Agüero executed a penalty that got the goal of equality.
This was not enough, however, which is why the Italian coach decided to put the “Apache” in the field. A warm welcome from the public would be the best of omens for what was coming: missing 4 minutes, Tevez would give a great assist for Nasri to put the 2-1.
