Lady Gaga made 30 million dollars for using the social network Twitter

Lady Gaga is the most famous star in Twitter, with about 20 million followers. That amount of followers gives the singer $ 30 million a year. 

The Wall Street Journal reported that one third of the 90 million that the pop singer won in 2011 came from the social network Twitter.

In this sense, the marketing manager of the company Impact Branding & Design stated that “the direct connection that the diva developed with her fans through social networking pushed her earning potential ensuring more legal purchases of her music.”

On March 6, Gaga was the first person to reach 20 million followers. Justin Bieber follows her with 18, Katy Perry with 16, Shakira with 14.5 and Rihanna 14.4.
