Interview: Melina Cammertoni

At what age did your vocation started? Since childhood, at age 8 I already played with the cameras, and ten years after I started working as model advertising.

How were the first steps? At 17 I was at a parade in Cordoba, in an agency depending on Anama Ferreyra and did artistic modeling for Metro, a private college of photography.

You were discovered on a beach. How was that experience? I was discovered by sports daily Ole, the newspaper photographers saw me on a beach and asked me to pose for them, when I buy the newspaper, I see my picture in a beauty contest that elected the representative of the newspaper, the contest lasted almost 3 months, each day featured a different candidate to the newspaper that the audience voted via the web and prove to be the finalist. Then representatives arrived with contracts and proposals, which brought me to live in Buenos Aires.
