Del Potro defeated Verdasco in the 1000 Indian Wells Masters

Del Potro won a great match against the Spanish Verdasco, for the third round of the 1000 Indian Wells Masters. The match ended 6-2 and 7-6 to the Argentine, who was vastly superior. 

In the first set, Del Potro ruined his opponent, leaving him more than once in a complicated situation. Thus, the set became a formality, reason why Del Potro won it 6-2.

In the second set, Verdasco rose up his level and complicated Delpo, but eventually the Argentine won the tiebreaker by 8-6, staying with the set 7-6.

Now he’s being awaited by Denis Istomin. The last time they played, Del Potro defeated him.
