Inhabitant of the Villa 31 denied Macri’s statements for the conflict of School Busses

City of Buenos Aires, March 10, 2012

Walter Martin Felipe, member of Mundo Villa, media of the Villa 31, spoke with the newspaper online InfoNews about yesterday’s protests at the entrance to the highway Illia. The complaint demanded school transport for the kids of the neighborhood to the Government of Buenos Aires.

“The whole neighborhood is in this, it was an idea of the parents of the boys” he told to the newspaper.

In the same way, he denied the sayings of the head of government Mauricio Macri, who accused them of having made the demonstration to tire him down, accusing them of being led by the Casa Rosada. Against this, he argued “no one supported us, we agreed on that this should not be handled politically.”

“The local residents asked several times to meet with the Directorate General of Schools of the city and never had answers,” adding “we were told we were not going to be given transports.”

The national government sent a representative, according to Walter, “he said he would put cold cloths and intercede before the Buenos Aires government to reach a solution.”

Although Walter concluded “we do not trust the word of anyone until we have a signed paper.”
