Trenes de Buenos Aires (TBA) Director Roque Cirigliano was present in Once station where 50 people died yesterday and 703 were injured in the crash of Sarmiento railroad.

Cirigliano said the Sarmiento service is “acceptable.” “In some way there is more investment than other companies,” the manager said, who is cousin of Mario and Claudio Cirigliano, owners of the concession line trains and other transport services such as urban and long distance buses.

“Trains are good for travel, especially the security system,” he said to the press as M24Digital reported.

He also said in Continental radio that the company is analyzing a “human error”, pointing directly to the driver.

In Once, the businessman was insulted and assaulted by some relatives of the victims and had to retire in police custody.

According to the Planning Ministry in charge of Julio De Vido, TBA received by the national government 76.9 million pesos for its operation.
