Security minister Nilda Garre made some statements on Twitter about the controversial program by Gendarmerie called Project X, which allegedly was responsible for spying on union leaders.

“We do not support espionage and if it happened we will be inflexible. But we do not make decisions without thinking,” wrote the official on social network in a series of messages she exchanged with her followers.

She added in her profile (@ nilda_garre) to order an audit of Project X, to know what it contains and she explains that in reality is essentially a software.

The Chief of Gendarmerie, Major General Hector Schenone, allegedly admitted to justice the existence of such a program would aim espionage.
