The producers of Flavio Mendoza, Ariel Diwan and Veronica Fucci, enjoy the success of the show that takes place in Villa Carlos Paz, but they want more: They want to bring to Al Pacino to act in a role in the Avenida Corrientes.

“Many producers say the success of the shows depends on chance, but we rely on artistic quality,” said Fucci, speaking of his intentions.

Diwan minced no doubt. “Halfway through the year, we will bring to Al Pacino,” he said, with conviction.

“One day watching ‘Chinese Coffee’ I said ‘we need to bring Pacino’. Many say we’re crazy, but we started the talks and I bet that this winter we will have him a month in Corrientes Av.,” he added.

The actor, who played the legendary character Michael Corleone in The Godfather, could dance tango again, as he did in the film Scent of a Woman.
