Messi chosen better than Maradona (2nd) and Pele (4th)

Sports Illustrated magazine made a list of the 160 best players in football history. Lionel Messi was chosen as the best, over Maradona and Pele. In a publication, they finished with two disputes against the Brazilian.

Messi, better than Maradona, Diego, better than Cruyff, Cruyff better than Pele, this was the approach of the U.S. magazine that caused controversy.

In the 16th place, also appears Alfredo Di Stefano, in what is a podium with a few Latin American countries. Pele is followed by Beckenbahuer, Yashin, Platini, Bobby Moore, Zidane and Puskas.
