Cuban dissident William Villar died during a hunger strike

Wilman Villar, the Cuban dissident, died today at a hospital in the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba when he was conducting a hunger strike in prison, for being serving four years in prison.
According to the spokesman of the Cuban Commission for Human Rights andNational Reconciliation (CCDHRN), Elizardo Sanchez, “Wilman Villar, 31, belonged since last September to a group called the Patriotic Union of Cuba, which was established in mid 2011 and led by former political prisoner José Daniel Ferrer. “
