Argentina offered Paraguay to buy all the excedent of energy from the Acaray dam

Minister Julio de Vido met with the president of Paraguay, Fernando Lugo, to offer to buy ‘all the excess energy of a dam Guarani to cover the energy deficit. “
The purchase price would be all the electricity market over the dam Acaray Guarani, to cover the domestic deficit.
According to official sources reported Friday in Paraguay, “The dam Acaray, where Asunción has a pre-agreement with other partners like Uruguay, to buy up to 200 megawatt hours (MWh) of energy.”
Paraguay’s presidential spokesman, Miguel López Perito said that “Argentina is interested in buying all the surplus energy of the dam Acaray at market price.”
“The government will not give its consent Guarani to increase power Yacyretá dam shared with Argentina, until you define the amount of a million-dollar debt required by the Casa Rosada and that Paraguay does not recognize”.
“The Paraguayan authorities understand that they properly to be included in the calculation of debt of $ 9,000 million in interest, such as fencing Buenos Aires, since the underlying orders were not approved by Parliament.”
