The cost of life increased in 9.5% during 2011 according to the report revealed by the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC, for its acronym in Spanish). This way, the institute agreeded with private consultants in the deaceleration of inflation.
The state agency said the Consumer Price Index (CPI) had a change of 9.5 percentage points over 2011, while in December was 0.8%.
Thus, marks another year in a row that INDEC measurements represent half of those of private consultants, although both groups agreed that they see a drop in the cost of living increase compared to 2010 (10, 9% for the state agency).
