The Culinary union head Luis Barrionuevo again pressed the secretary general of the CGT Hugo Moyano, ensuring that before wage parity without dialogue with the Government, the driver is “forced” to call a general strike on March.
“There comes a time of conflict,” Barrionuevo said, referring to the upcoming joint negotiations, where the government seeks to impose a ceiling of 18% and the CGT requires a wage increase of around 30%. The culinary unionist for its part, said his guild has set a floor of 25%.
“A Secretary who has not dialogue with the government undoubtedly will fight, and if not present his resignation,” the unionist said.
He said Moyano has “expiration date” in the forthcoming elections to determine the new Secretary General of CGT.
“We have to choose the secretary general of the CGT for the time ahead. In June, Moyano has expiration date,” Barrionuevo said on the radio.
