7-year-old killed to “offer her liver to the gods”

The police of the district of Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, in India, detained two peaseants for murdering a 7-year-old girl.

According to what the criminals said, “she was sacrificed and her liver was removed to be offered to the gods in exchange for a better harvest”.

“The Times” of india published that “Lalita Tati dissappeared last october and her remains were found scattered a week later, following a complaint from her family”.

“Tati was returning home after watching television in a neighbour’s home when she was kidnapped. The two men confessed having killed her to remove her liver and offer it to the gods in a tribal ceremony”, it adds.
