Rio Negro: Carlos Soria remains were buried and Weretilneck assumes on Tuesday

Governor Carlos Soria died at 04:47 on Sunday for a shot in the face, at his farm located on the outskirts of General Roca, Rio Negro province.
Authorities are investigating hypotheses about the death, whether it was accidental or a domestic dispute.
Police sources indicated that “children and grandchildren of Soria had left the residence after celebrating the New Year, and only the governor and his wife, Susana Freydoz, remained in the house at the time of the incident.”
Judge Emilio Stadler gave the order to “do not disclose the case details.”
During the afternoon of Sunday, Soria’s family members were questioned at an informal level by Judge Emilio Stadler and underwent skin tests to see if there were traces of gunpowder.
All officers of Rio Negro government refused to provide further information and simply refer to the statement released by Communications Minister Julian Goinhex.
Once the autopsy on Soria’s body, his remains were taken to a funeral home. Later, he was buried in Park Cemetery Sources in a private ceremony with the exclusive participation of family members and friends.
Deputy governor Alberto Weretilneck oath as governor on Tuesday to replace Carlos Soria.
Weretilneck must complete the job as governor of the province in 2015, according to Article 180, paragraph 2 of the provincial constitution.
The sources said that Weretilneck lead a cabinet meeting on Tuesday at the Government House.
Also he called to “remember Carlos Soria the best way possible.”
