November 29, 2011
The Minister of Economy and elected Vice President, Amado Boudou, participated in the 59th Convention of the Argentine Chamber of Construction. He said that Argentina “will have the currency needed to have autonomy in making decisions.”
He said that there is a need to “strengthen the internal market and to promote national development of imports substitution, in which the key is popular consumption, the incorporation of many compatriots in the market of labor and demand.”
He also said that “we live in a turbulent world that will keep the problems we are seeing today, especially high volatility, uncertainty and global growth rates slow to more developed economies”.
“It has to do with an economic model that prevailed in the late 80′s and was consolidated in the 90, one we might call the valorization of the financial system in the economic,” said Boudou.
The Minister said that, however, that “next year, Argentina’s economy will generate the sufficient trade balance and foreign exchange necessary to have autonomy in making decisions.”
