George Michael was hospitalized with pneumonia and postponed some dates of his European Tour

Today was communicated through the press that George Michael postponed some dates of his European tour due to a “severe pneumonia” that affects him. 

George Michael, of 48 years old, was admitted to a hospital in Vienna, Austria, on Monday, where he remains under medical treatment. The musician responds to treatment from doctors and his condition is improving slowly.

For now, the team of doctors does not know how long he may need to recover from the disease, reason why they recommended complete rest and he had to postpone 14 concerts of his tour through the Old Continent.

Through a statement, the doctors argued that “Michael will need complete rest, peace and tranquility”. A month ago, he had already postponed a show in England because he was suffering from a fever.
