The scientific community is troubled by the images of a rare being find in Haiti, oddly shaped. Theories ranging from aliens to an unusual brain disease.
The social network Facebook has a new issue with the spreading of the picture of what would be a person with a rare malformation of the head.
Some argue that it is an extraterrestrial being, not knowing the source of the photo or who took it.
For others, it is a strange case of anencephaly, a rare disease in which the baby is born without a brain.
M24Digital consulted a medical expert who said: “No, that is not an alien. This is a child with anencephaly, a birth defect.”
“As I can see, it is clear that the photograph is of a newborn or a dead baby after an abortion. The deformation process can be explained by a rustic and illegal interruption of pregnancy,” he added.
