The referee of the match to be played between Guillermo Brown and River Plate could not fly to Puerto Madryn because of the ash and is traveling by land to reach. It could delay the meeting.
Carlos Maglio was flying south today to lead the match of the Cinderella of the tournament, Guillermo Brown. However, the airlines reported that, due to the ashes, the flights would not occur and the referee had to take a road transport.
“All flights were canceled and Carlos Maglio began a journey that is exhausting. The match may be delayed, although based on the TV schedules it should start at five in the afternoon,” Carlos Eliceche, president of the institution of Puerto Madryn, said.
Should Maglio not arrive on time, the match between Guillermo Brown and “The Millionaire” will be played tomorrow.
