At 81 years old, Diego Maradona’s mother passed away

This afternoon, the worst news was confirmed. Dalma Salvadora Franco, Diego Maradona’s mother, died after being hospitalized due to a decompensation. The current coach of Al Wasl is now traveling from Dubai and would reach Argentina tomorrow. 

Diego Maradona had to travel urgently, after the loss of his team, after hearing the news of his mother’s hospitalization. Doña Tota had been admitted to hospital Los Arcos but after a few hours of agony did not survive and was confirmed the news of her death.

While Dr. Alfredo Cahe gave no specific information on the status of Dalma, confirmed that the death occurred this afternoon.

It should be remembered that this was not the first time that Doña Tota had complications with her health. A few months ago she had been transferred to the Swiss Maternity Clinic of Argentina as a result of heart disease. His previous hospitalization was in 2003 as product of another decompensation.
