The excellent chemistry between U.S. president Barack Obama and Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, has unleashed a wave of commentary that could bothered Michelle Obama.

US president came to the land of kangaroos on an official visit and the pictures and videos of the meeting between both leaders realize a “special spark” between them.

The newspapers of both countries published a lot of articles regarding the issue.

The Herald Sun said, “In the company of Obama, Gillard looks like she was on a date with George Clooney”, adding “their hands, as disembodied forms of life itself, look back and shoulders of another. Gillard blushes like a schoolgirl who, after much time has captured the eye of the captain of the football team.”

Obama speaks of the Prime Minister as “my friend Julia,” who in his opinion has the qualities most admired: “A person with down to earth, easy word and saying things like they are, directly.”

On their birthdays they sent gifts each other, as their “friendship” dates from long before. She wrote: “Your life has been great so far, but I’m sure the best yet to come” with the present. Both turned 50 years old in 2011.
