Obama called for a summit meeting with Cristina Kirchner

Diplomats from the United States informed the Argentina Foreign Ministry that their country’s president, Barack Obama, requested a meeting with Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner at the meeting of G-20, in Cannes, France.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dan Restrepo, head of the Latin American office in the White House requested a meeting for the 3rd or 4th of November.
At that time, the President will attend the meeting of the Group of 20 in Cannes, France. This is the first time she meets Obama since April 2010.
