Trade Balance: Imports and exports had strong increases in September

 

Argentina, October 21, 2011

September’s trade surplus rose to $ 33 million last year, reaching U$S 1.064 million. With these data, it is estimated the 2010 figure will be exceeded by at least 2 billion dollars.

September was a month favorable for exports. They grew 25% to U$S 7.959 million. Meanwhile, imports had a stronger rise up to 29%, coming to U$S 6.895 million.

The accumulated surplus of 2011 gives a positive balance of U$S 8.162 million. The cumulative total of last year reached 10.251 million dollars.
