Government creates a new police force for the Federal Capital

The creation of the ”Prevention Police Neighborhood” was announced today by the Ministry of National Security. This body will be in the City of Buenos Aires.

This new body will be formed by members of the Federal Police after a training to “develop mediation and peace in the community.” In this way it seeks to create a security that has a greater proximity to citizens.

“The new police division will maintain a strong linkage with local social and cultural development policies also it will be aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens andreduce levels of social conflict and violence in the neighborhoods of greater vulnerability of the city,” he said from Security portfolio.

Today the recruitment starts to those who wants to be part of that force. These applicants will be evaluated in a screening considering their ”service attitude to the prevention, tolerance of differences, adaptability and interaction with the public,communication skills, teamwork, solidarity, initiative and responsibility, among other capabilities. ”

The members of the Federal Police of both sexes receive specific training before going into operation next year.
