U.S.: It was disrupt a terrorist attack. The plan included objectives Argentina

As it was reported by various agencies, the FBI and the DEA, would have prevented a terrorist attack against the U.S. by Iran. In addition the plan included assassinations of diplomatic officials and attacks on several embassies, among which were those ofIsrael and Saudi Arabia in Buenos Aires.

The plot planned the assassination of Saudi Arabia’s ambassador in the United States and attacks on diplomatic missions in Washington.

Eric Holder, Attorney General of the United States said the plan was “conceived, funded and directed from Iran.” Also characterized it as a “flagrant” violation oflocal laws internationally.

He added: “The U.S. is committed to making responsible for their actions in Iran” and that the meeting with federal agencies and then announce “new measures”against Iran.

For his part, Robert Mueller, FBI director stated that a person ”suspect” was arrested and therefore will be judged “with the full weight of the law.” ”We will not tolerate any attempt of terrorism in the United States”
