Burlando confirmed that Candela was raped before being killed

Fernando Burlando, the lawyer for the family of Candela Rodriguez, the eleven year old girl abducted and murdered in Hurlingham, said the victim was raped before being killed.

The lawyer said Candela suffered anal rape just before her death.

“There is an important anal injury that was recorded in the operation of autopsy and who have to clarify the situation are the detainees,” Burlando said.

He added, “There was sexual intercourse” and is “vital and that injury came in hours before her murder, something detestable.”

Consequently Burlando asked prosecutors to expand the charges against the detainees.
