Weather alert for heavy rains and hail across the country

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a warning for tonight due to the possibility of severe thunderstorms and hail in different areas of Argentina.

The alarm must be addressed in the City of Buenos Aires, the north of the Province, the center and south of Cordoba, Entre Rios, the center and north of La Pampa, San Luis and Santa Fe’s south.

The NWS said that these phenomena might be caused by the displacement of a warm, moist and unstable air mass from the north of the aforementioned the area. Meanwhile, the cold enters through the middle levels of the atmosphere.

As for the possibility of hail, the agency informed that it could result from deterioration of the situation later in the night and early on Friday.
