Technopolis pink lights to join the fight against breast cancer

Tecnopolis fully lit pink shining today and will remain that color until Sunday, as part of the global campaign against breast cancer, which charges only in Argentina 5400 deaths of women each year and about 18 000 new cases are recorded in that period.

As part of the campaign, also hosts receiving the public every day in the exhibition dress in pink, the color that symbolizes the importance of prevention, detection and cure breast cancer, as well as promotional material distributed as pins and stickers.

In turn, the Health Ministry keep from tomorrow for a week at Technopolis two free care mobile units belonging to the Territorial Health Program Approach, equipped with latest technology for mammograms and other diagnostic studies.

Technopolis is one of the 200 points that glow pink in the world, in over 70 countries as a way to warn about this type of cancer, a public health problem in many countries and also in Argentina.
