City of Buenos Aires, September 22, 2011

Next Tuesday, the House formally begin the debate on the various projects on the voluntary interruption of pregnancy. As in the equal marriage, the voting will not run through the parties.

The national deputy Raul Barrandeguy (FPV of Entre Rios) explained that the commission of Criminal Law “has been listening to experts in the field, people of the United Nations in public hearings. And now we will begin to address the projects.”

He explained that during the voting deputies, “the same thing that happened with Equal Marriage will happen now, as lawmakers will express themselves in one way or another because there are very strong questions of conscience.” “We will find there legislators who are not going to be grouped only by their party, but for some project,” he said.
