The strike in the Line 60 would be lifted today
September 21, 2011
Delegates from the bus line 60 announced that they will probably accept aproposal sent by the company in order to safeguard the position and start paying back months. The strike would be lifted at midnight.
Pedro Caballero, representing the bus drivers, said that ”there will be a meeting to determine if we stop the conflict,” but added that “the latest proposal meets expectations.”
He noted that, however, there remains ”something that creeps past conflicts: the timing of payment.” He said drivers have “the good will to unlock” the matter, and said that”after midnight could resume the service.”
