Charlie Sheen: His ‘burial’ was seen by 27.7 million people

The ‘funeral’ for Charlie Sheen in “Two and a Half Men” broke the record for being seen by 27.7 million people, in which also was the presentation of the new star Ashton Kutcher.

The most-watched comedy on North-American television, showed the funeral of Sheen’s character, the womanizing bachelor Charlie Harper.

The new season of “Two and a Half Men” began on Monday, smashing the opening of “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC.

Criticism of Kutcher debut was positive and suggested that the series, a moneymaker for both the CBS and for Warner Bros television producer, was far from dying.

Ken Tucker of Entertainment Weekly, said, “Kutcher’s performance was good, almost as much as Sheen … Kutcher probably prove to have the same talent.”
