Car bomb explodes in Michigan

A car bomb exploded yesterday in the state of Michigan, United States, injuring a man with his two sons, who were inside the vehicle at the time of the blast.

A spokesman for the Bureau of Alcohol, Snuff, Firearms and Explosives confirmed that indeed a car bomb caused the explosion.

Police said they are looking for clues to determine more details about the case and that the investigation is at an “early stage”.

Authorities offered a reward of $ 10,000 for those who supply evidence in order to find the responsibles for the incident.

Investigators trying to determine if the attack was aimed at the three people occupying the vehicle or if it was random.

The identity of the victims was not disclosed. Police said they were very lucky to survive.
