“Calica” Ferrer, Che’s companion on his journey: “El Che would be Kirchnerist”
September 20, 2011
Carlos “Calica” Ferrer, the friend who accompanied Ernesto “Che” Guevara during his second tour of Latin America, defined himself as Kirchnerist and said that the Argentine revolutionary would be Kirchnerist too.
Ferrer said he was “totally Kirchnerist, as would be El Che, as this process is the best thing that could happen to the country after years of dictatorship and government that betrayed its promises.”
Calica was at an act of the group “La Che”, which he endorsed. “In these days, it is very easy to use the image of Ernesto to set a position, but I only endorse those who I know and have my confidence, as Francisco (Giardineri), Nadra (Alberto), Lois (Lopez Leira),” he said.
