Emmy Awards: ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Modern Family’ the big winners

The Academy of Arts and Sciences of Television presented last night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles the 63rd Emmy Awards.
This award is given to the most important shows in U.S. television.
The series ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Modern Family’ won for best drama and comedy of the year.
‘Boardwalk Empire’ received 8 awards and Martin Scorsese won the first Emmy of his career, by the direction of the pilot episode. ‘Downton Abbey’ received 8 prizes.
