Hebe de Bonafini: “Schoklender does not know what else to say”

Argentina, September 17, 2011

Hebe de Bonafini, head of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo said that the opposition that summoned Schoklender to the Congress “has no project for the country”.

“The only thing that matters for them is to increase troubles” said the president of the Association.

The decision to attend to the Congress with Schoklender was described as a “total turpitude” by Bonafini, who was accused by the former representative of the Association of misappropriating funds that should be addressed to the Commission for Constitutional Affairs and Housing for the plan “Shared Dreams”.

For Bonafini, he “is finished and does not know what else to say” and therefore “he speaks lies, lies, and more lies, all garbage”.

“We’re safe and quiet,” said Bonafini when asked about the irregularities and complaints about the administration of Project funds. On the other hand thanked “the support we receive from the world”.

Finally, faced with a question about the existence of a Mother’s bank account in Miami, she said that their former head of the Center for Legal and Social Studies (CELS) Emilio Fermin Mignone, now deceased, “opened one to receive a donation of 10 thousand dollars in 1978” but concluded “we do not know what happened later”.
