It was arrested Candela’s captor

One of three people arrested would be Candela Rodriguez’s kidnapped. On the other hand, the caller extortion was also arrested. Ten defendants are in the case so far. Nestor Altamirano, the carpenter, returned to testify. 

Preliminary inquiries relate the new defendant with Hugo Bermudez, the alleged perpetrator of the act, and with two other detainees who are being investigated for their participation.

The arrests were part of the new raids at dawn today. Likewise, the police also seized two cars that are supposed to have been used in some phase of the transfer of Candela by the Buenos Aires suburbs.

On the other hand today, Nestor Altamirano Carpenter still being held, returned to testify. According to Matthias Morla, the defense attorney said Altamirano, “was an accurate description of several people he saw while doing work” in the house at Kiernan. He also explained that his client had no contact with Bermudez, or anyone else, except with Gladys Cabrera who is the owner of the house.

“Nor is connected with the new detainees,” since “it belongs to the underworld and is living a nightmare for doing their job.”
He concluded, “Altamirano is innocent and going to his release in the coming days, it has nothing to do with this matter.”
