Amy Winehouse Charity Foundation opens on her birthday

British singer Amy Winehouse would turn this Wednesday 28 years old and her family remembers her starting a charitable foundation in her honor.

On this day a song was released recorded with American jazz singer Tony Bennett, “Body and Soul” and the profits from its sale will go to the Foundation ‘Amy Winehouse’.

Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse said that “the organization will try to help disadvantaged young people in the UK and abroad to combat drug addiction.”

Amy was found dead in July at her home in London.
