Schiavi: “The barrier was functioning”

Juan Pablo Schiavi, Secretary of Transport, said the barrier worked at the time of the train collision with a bus of the 92 line. He said the missing “data from cameras and expertise.”
“In principle what we are seeing is that the collective step at a time when the train was coming downstream,” the official said.
“From the technical point of view of research data, we lack the expertise of cameras and precision to give any more,” he said.
“We first have to thank the operation that has made the Federal Police in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police, the people of the SAME and railway security personnel,” he said.
