Rihanna worked with Coldplay on their new album Xyloto Mylo, which represents a peculiar fusion on the song “Princess of China”.
The leader of the English band, Chris Martin said in an interview to The Sun: “The album is designed as a complete piece, has a boy and a girl as main characters and on top of our list of options for part of the girl was Rihanna, but it takes a while to have the courage to ask.”
Martin reported that after a Rihanna show in Las Vegas, was inspired to propose the challenge, which eventually closed successfully.
“She has this amazing voice and so different from mine. When we recorded it I thought wow, it sounds different, but I think it’s also because she was singing a different song to which we are accustomed to hear from her,” Martin said.
On the other hand on Monday it was launched a new single of the new Coldplay album titled “Paradise.”
The list of songs that make this new material was released by EMI: Mylo Xyloto, Hurts Like Heaven, Paradise, Charlie Brown, Us Against The World, M.M.I.X., Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, Major Minus, U.F.O., Princess of China, Up In Flames, A Hopeful Transmission, Don’t Let It Break Your Heart y Up With The Birds.
