France denies flight risk after nuclear explosion

French Security Agency denied the possibility of a leak of radioactive material after the explosion of a central residue in the south French. The incident has killed at least one operator.
French media reported that the explosion occurred around 11:45 local time, in an oven that was in a low-level waste in the Marcoule plant located near Nice. “This is an industrial accident, not a nuclear accident,” said the company EDF, whose filiail Socodei manages the plant.
They reported that the explosion killed at least one operator who was found burned and four were wounded, one seriously, was taken to a hospital in Monpellier.
It is the oldest central France.
